ECHHO Will Lend A Helping Hand

ECHHO is a wonderful non-profit organization in Jefferson County. Their community volunteers provide transportation assistance to help people get to their medical appointments and other essential activities. They also have a robust selection of medical equipment and aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, and other devices that you can check out and return when you no longer need them. Amazingly, this service is free of charge. They do appreciate both financial and equipment donations, as that is how they are able to operate. ECHHO has been a wonderful resource for my husband’s needs as he continues his dementia journey. Thank you, ECHHO. I am so grateful to you! Be sure to check out their website for more information.
