Happy Valentine’s Day! 

What are you doing to celebrate this year?

I just got back from visiting my son and his family in New Hampshire. I went for my youngest grandson Sawyer’s 4th birthday. He’s incredibly articulate for a four-year-old—one foot still in toddlerhood and the other boldly tackling the world. He carries his well-loved teddy under one arm while wrestling his older brother with the other. He picks up everything his older brother says and does. Watching them grow up is such a joy.

Rowan, the older brother, is five and already reading, writing, and obsessed with dinosaurs. He’s also learning to snowboard! I watched one of his lessons, though I have to admit I enjoyed the bar at the lodge just as much—if not more—than standing out in the cold.

While I was there, I experienced a true New Hampshire winter snowstorm, complete with mounds of fluffy snow and temperatures that didn’t climb above the mid-20s. One night, it even dropped to -12 degrees. Now that’s cold!

What’s not cold is my heart. It’s full of love and gratitude for my beautiful family, friends, colleagues, and clients. Thank you for being part of my life. I wish each of you a wonderful and Happy Valentine’s Day.
