My Uncle Coley Aldrich is amazing.  He just turned 98 and was competing in a shuffleboard tournament in Shelton on his actual birthday last week.  Not only did he place first in his age bracket (maybe the only player his age) he also drove his own car from Kingston to Shelton, about a 2-hour drive.  While he has a few health issues, they don’t hold him back.  Coley is as active as his health permits him to be.  He is smart, funny and an all-around good guy. He has a zest for life that is unstoppable.  I want to be just like you when I grow up, Coley!!

ECHHO is a wonderful non-profit organization in Jefferson County. Their community volunteers provide transportation assistance to help people get to their medical appointments and other essential activities. They also have a robust selection of medical equipment and aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, and other devices that you can check out and return when you no longer need them. Amazingly, this service is free of charge. They do appreciate both financial and equipment donations, as that is how they are able to operate.
